The MQ Market Village
Marina Quays Market Village, situated on the water at Hope Island, opened on 5th December, 2009. Spread across 3.5 hectares, Marina Quays Market Village boasts a fabulous selection of retail outlets, artisans, entertainment and eateries situated along pretty roads somewhat akin to a European-style village.
Marina Quays Market Village was established to cater to the broader Gold Coast demographic as well as tourists to Queensland. Our vision is to offer visitors to Marina Quays Market Village a unique “experience for the senses” ... a smorgasbord of variety for all ages within a pleasant outdoor village atmosphere ... a place where people, young or old, families or individuals, feel comfortable and at home.
Whether you’re here to shop or simply enjoy lunch on the water or a relaxing drink at the Clock Tower Bar there’s something at Marina Quays Market Village for everyone. Fun for the kids, jazz and easy listening music performed by local Gold Coast entertainers and performance troupes, numerous fashion & accessory stores, local delicacies & eateries and some fun on the water.
As a Queensland owned and managed business, Marina Quays Market Village strongly supports Queensland business, talent and producers. To this end we are partnering with various academies, institutions and individual performance artists to showcase and promote local talent and to build an event calendar of cultural and fun pursuits for the whole family. Given time, more and more activities will be introduced including Jazz Festivals, Food & Wine Festivals, Movies on the Boardwalk and performances by various bands & top class entertainers.
Also a supporter of local community and various charities and foundations, Marina Quays Market Village is establishing itself as a community-based and family-friendly enterprise and we look forward to further expansion and enhancements in the very near future.
